Tobago A.N.R. Robinson International Airport

Advance International Construction Ltd. participated in the construction of the glass curtain wall for ANR Robinson International Airport. To address the local environmental conditions and the airport’s structural characteristics, we adopted an exposed-frame design. This design offers structural stability with visible, robust framing that withstands rainy and windy climates, while ensuring ease of installation, low maintenance costs, and reliable waterproof performance. Prior to formal installation, the curtain wall underwent rigorous two-week Performance Mock-Up (PMU) testing to guarantee its high quality and stable performance.

The curtain wall utilizes laminated insulated glass, which provides enhanced safety by retaining glass fragments on the interlayer upon breakage to prevent falling hazards. It also delivers exceptional noise reduction to mitigate aircraft noise pollution and superior thermal insulation to minimize heat transfer. These designs ensure ANR Robinson International Airport achieves both functional excellence and aesthetic appeal, serving the public with optimal performance.
